A very good historical place. Beautiful architecture and great view museum is also well maintained. A very beautiful scenic location. History lovers are definitely like this place. Its museum contains many things from history. It would be liked by the people who love to know about its history, past culture. In one word this place is awesome. Fascinating museum that showcases the Portugese and the Hindu elements of Goan culture. The museum is in one part of a historic building. There are many artifacts from Hindu culture. There are also statues and portraits from the Portugese past of Goa. There are halls and open corridors with exhibits. The portrait gallery on the upper floor has an impressive collection of portraits of Portugese leaders and administrators. The exhibits are well arranged, well illuminated and with informative labelsThings from a century is kept here. Its only the archeological heritage site in Goa and one from india.

Throughout experience was good 😊 enough, it has a ticket 🎫🎟️ entry of 10 Rupees. Most of the painting 🎨 are looks fine 😁, place is very nice and clean. Wheel-chair access ♿ is available. Photography is strictly prohibited but everyone is busy in taking pictures.

Its Archeological musium. Its closing time is 5pm. Goa is big tourism state they should extend visiting time upto 8 or 9pm

The collection is average but the problem is that the guards inside are very rude. They don't let you take pictures of the artefacts. What is the purpose of coming so far if I can't take photographs. And it wasn't even mentioned anywhere. The portraits gallery is actually interesting. It would take about 30 to 45 mins to see all the galleries. Museum of Christian Art is a better museum comparatively. And the construction is not complete.

Pretty exhaustive collection of items. What is remarkable is the immensely historical dates of the artefacts! Pretty ancient piece of history in this museum. Make a visit to this place along with the bom basilica and Francis of Assisi church. They are just a few blocks from each other

Its a must visit historical monument which showcases a lot of Portuguese art and before Portuguese history of Adil Shah the ruler of Goa before Portuguese came to India and a lot of things to learn of the coming of the Portuguese to India and their journey and it depicts all the portuguese viceroys to India during that era.

Archaeological Museum of Goa Is Located at the back of the Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi, this museum contains many important and beautiful artefacts of the Portuguese rule in India. Its treasures are divided amongst eight galleries. The most important of these are considered to be the portraits of the long-dead Viceroys and Governors of Goa.
